Softball
When I cover Softball games and events, I prefer to specialize in capturing the eye of the athlete which simply illustrates the direction in which they are going. I also highlight the small details in their jerseys, choice of ribbon in their hair, and explore more creative methods in different environments.

Game Pictures
For game action pictures, I focus on the strong emotion portrayed by the athletes inside and outside of the dugout, actions like sliding into base and when at bat, and lastly the interactions within the team.
Practice
For practice pictures, this provides the team and their social media team with different pictures to utilize. I enjoy capturing a different perspective of the team.
Travel
I traveled with the Softball team during March 2024. We traveled to three locations from Tucson, AZ to Tuscaloosa, AL to Louisville, KY, to Corvallis, OR.
For travel pictures, it's important to capture the athletes walking to the bus with their equipment as this makes for an awesome social media post for the marketing and communication departments. Also, if one gets different angles it provides different perspectives.
